What is Pharmacogenomic Testing

Pharmacogenomic testing, or PGx, is a branch of genetic testing focused on how an individual’s genetic makeup impacts the likely response to therapeutic medications. Genes are parts of your DNA that are inherited from each of your parents. Your genes are what make you uniquely you and they determine your eye color, height, and can influence how your body reacts to medications.

1. Sign up for PGx.

2. Receive a collection kit in the mail to the address provided. Contents include a cheek (buccal) swab and instructions.

3. Grounded Pharmacist will thoroughly analyze your results.

4. The Grounded team will let you know when your laboratory analysis is complete and schedule your genetic consultation.

5. 1-on-1 Pharmacist consultations to provide a comprehensive discussion to educate you and provide an action plan based on your unique DNA.
